Any plan for modulized quantlib, the boost way

SteveGe
Just wondering if any plan to modulize quantlib, so that the size is smaller, like the boost library, you only need to link the .so you application required, otherwise include some .h file is enough.

I am asking because some people complain the size of the library, is it because the use of template or any other reason?

No plan at this time. I'm not sure how feasible it would be, though. The components in Boost are much less connected, and most of them can be used alone. We don't have many parts of QuantLib that could be separated like that; they are more interconnected, for good or for bad.
