Hi All, I have download the latest trunk from the SVN ant tried to build Quantlib and its excel-addin. The Quantlib was built successfully but Quantlibxl failed. The error message reads as follows: Error 42 error C1189: #error : Compiling Filesystem version 3 file with BOOST_FILESYSTEM_VERSION defined != 3 D:\dev\boost\boost\filesystem\config.hpp 16 1 ohxllib My boost version is 1.50. Is this a known incompatibility between quantlibxl and the newest version of boost? I had heard that there was a patch for that: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=312740&aid=3541627&group_id=12740 I was under the impression that the patch had already been applied to the trunk, so I don't understand why you're still getting that error, hopefully somebody else here knows more. Maybe this patch is only for Quantlib, not for its corresponding QuantlibXL

the fix has been applied on /branches/R01020x-branch which is going to
be released in the coming weeks. Switch to that branch or wait for the after-release merge On Thu, Aug 2, 2012 at 11:07 AM, Cheng Li <[hidden email]> wrote: > Maybe this patch is only for Quantlib, not for its corresponding QuantlibXL > > > -----邮件原件----- > 发件人: Eric Ehlers [mailto:[hidden email]] > 发送时间: 2012年8月2日 16:21 > 收件人: [hidden email] > 主题: Re: [Quantlib-users] Building problem for Quantlibxl > > Hi Cheng, > > On 2012-08-02 03:07, Cheng Li wrote: >> Hi All, >> >> I have download the latest trunk from the SVN ant tried to build >> Quantlib and its excel-addin.
