christos.arvanitis

Dear all,

I had lately a lot of pain trying to build QLXL as it is and also trying to expose other classes as well

Yet spending a lot of time wondering around I could manage to do successful steps in building the excel dynamic lib .xll and expose additional classes there

Following all the above I have to following questions for you that can effectively helping me building the libs

1.       Is there anybody who can provide clear steps for building the QLXL using MSVC 13-10 and extending some of the classes as well!

2.       Is there anybody who can provide the steps above using MINGW in windows and an eclipse IDE?

3.       Can you provide an eclipse project as you have done with MSVC solutions for the eclipse IDE?

Thank you very much in advance for your help

What do you mean by MSVC 13-10?  Here are the recent version numbers of
Visual C++:

Visual C++ 2005 (known also as Visual C++ 8.0)
Visual C++ 2008 (known also as Visual C++ 9.0)
Visual C++ 2010 (known also as Visual C++ 10.0)
Visual C++ 2012 (known also as Visual C++ 11.0)
Visual C++ 2013 (known also as Visual C++ 12.0)

Here are the instructions for compiling and extending QuantLibXL:

http://quantlib.org/quantlibaddin/build_qlxl.html
http://quantlib.org/quantlibaddin/extend_tutorial.html

Kind Regards,
Eric
