Compilation Error with VC++ 2005 Express

frederic.degraeve (Bugzilla)
Hello,

I guess you tried to compile with Visual C++ express 2005. You need to install Windows Platform SDK to compile QuantLib XL.
With the professional version of Visual C++ 2005, you'll have windows.h in Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\PlatformSDK\Include.

Regards,

Frédéric Degraeve

Hi,

When I try to compile log4cxx_vc7 or even QuantlibXL I get the following error message:

fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'windows.h': No such file or directory

I have no problem compiling Boost or Quantlib standard.

Any thoughts on the subject?

Regards
