Hi,
I am trying to compile QuantLibXL in VC++ 2008 and run it in Excel 2007. I started with the ObjectHandler library as an exercise. I successfully compiled ObjectHandler's sources. However, even the simplest ExampleDynamic1 xll didn't work in Excel 2007. Does it have anything to do with ObjectHandler basing on another earlier version the Excel SDK? Any help is much appreciated. Hi Kim, I am not compiling the code in trunk. I downloaded the source in the same directory as the binary in sourceforge. I successfully compiled ObjectHandler in VC+ 2008. However, when I opened the xll in Excel, Excel didn't like it. It spit out the generic error message: The file format doesn't match the extension. I also tried opening the xll distributed in the binary, that one loaded successfully in Excel. However, Start.xla while loaded successfully, couldn't run some of the functions. It failed in registering curves with ObjectHandler. Would you give me some details of your environment? Thank you very much.
