Key Responsibilities

·                     Responsible for determining, designing, and testing US currency trading strategies

·                     Work closely with London colleagues to ensure efficient and best practices of execution, market flow, trade ideas and pricing

·                     Assist in the build-out of the electronic trading platform and other initiatives to enhance trading performance

·                     Work well under pressure (of market volatility, people, time, etc.) and make quick decisions that may involve difficult trade-offs

·                     Communicate effectively with the desk and its internal clients/partners

·                     Drive quantitative analysis of pre-trade expectation and post-trade performance and understand the economic implications of various trading avenues, market mechanisms, implementation shortfall, transaction costs, and tracking error


Qualifications

·                     A minimum of two years of currency experience in a demanding buy side environment
BA/BS in a quantitative, engineering or computer science discipline required; advanced degree is a plus

·                     Experienced in programming with Java and/or C++

·                     Have well-developed organizational skills and knowledge of business protocol

·                     Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing, team-based environment

·                     Excel as a team player

·                     Be self-driven, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a multi-task environment
