This is a job related inquiry so please let us know if it is
inappropriate to post here and accept my apologies. We are aware that
there is a job specific list but it appears to be either defunct or not
much used. In any case we will keep this posting short and to the point.
Our company Point Nine Financial Technologies Limited is a London based
financial software company in the credit derivatives industry. We are
heavy users and supporters of open source and our whole platform runs on
Linux/Python. We are looking for an experienced (mid-level - senior)
'financial programmer' to join our London team and help the financial
team design, implement and maintain new and existing
functionality/instruments. We are also looking into integrating with
quantlib. Strong programming skills are not required and most of the
programming will be done in our financial business rule engine. We are
more interested in individuals who have a methodological and structured
approach to problem solving and have a solid understanding of basic
financial concepts and market processes.
