Hi All
Sorry to bother if not interested.
In simple words, a Ph.D student at Applied Maths with VERY STRONG background in programming is seeking a 1000 dollars per month sponsor for his project, in return he could spend 20 dollars per
I'm Ph.D student of Stony Brook University doing research in interdisciplinary stock market modeling using psychological and behavioral knowledge plus with finance. This project is targeting at providing predictive warning when risk rises when irrational consideration like "market will grow because it has been growing" has taken too much weight in decision making. It will use news text semantic analysis and data mining. Further the project will include like "what is the weight for different factors influencing making trading decisions at current market". Since there is no such project currently, I'm looking for a sponsorship so I can continue it. The outcome of this project would probably be an automatic updated system giving factor analysis of average psychological pressure feeling of traders, and high possible irrational reasons in current market, and hence the risk it brought could be considered.
So here I propose:
1. You may sponsor me around 1000 dollars per month(minimum living cost) and this project with its turning outs, including algorithms, methodologies and automatic systems, will belong to you.
2. You may hire me as part time employer at around 1000 dollars per month, and I will work up to 20 hours per week for you(which is very suit that if you got some idea but don't want to open a company direct for it)
I'm at my first Ph.D year at Applied Mathematics and Statistics Department of Stony Brook University. I've got ten years programming experience, including projects on data mining, semantic analysis, web service building up, mathematics modeling, correlation analysis, etc... I'm devoted and committed to whatever I'm doing. I am also the winner of 9th place of ACM/ICPC asia algorithm contest for college student at beijing site.
