I have been trying to print the trinomial tree for a given HullWhite object , but was not able to get a pointer to the underlying tree, even by deriving classes,etc. The tree given out is a lattice which has the underlying trinomial tree, but this again is a private member!
I have tried a lot of deriving possibilties eg., Deriving a class from HullWhite and implementing the tree() method by the copying the HullWhite::tree implementation, while storing the trinomial tree as public variable grabbed in the implemenation. But even the implementation won't compile because the HullWhite::Dynamics class is private.
Is there some easy workaround this?
