QuantLibXL-0.4.0

David Forfar
Dear Sirs,

I have downloaded the Add-in to EXCEL (using Tools, Addin, Browse) entitled QuantLib-vc80-mt-s-0_4_0.xll and I have the EXCEL spreadsheets  Workbooks/OriginalExamples/instruments.xls (as well as MarketData.xls and  VanillSwap.xls) and pressed Ctrl-Alt-F9,
BUT e.g. on the Workbook ValillaSwap.xls and the Worksheet Vanilla Swap I still get #NUM in cells C23 and  C25 and  #VALUE in cells C26 and C28,C29 and C30. May I ask what am I missing?

Furthermore I do not understand Object ID or what an Object ID is?

Thank you for your help.

David Forfar.

Please open MarketData.xls, then VanillaSwap.xls, then hit Ctrl-Alt-F9
to force a full recalculation.

Please see
http://quantlib.org/quantlibaddin/design.html#sec_2_3_2
(The doc uses the term "handle", we subsequently adopted instead the
term "Object ID", the concept is the same.)

Regards,
Eric
