QuantLibXl: The tricky trigger

Hamard, Stéphane

Hi all,

I am a new user of QuantLibXL.

I try to create a spreadsheet, for swap valuation, with real time links on Reuters’ feed.

I use ohTrigger with the cells linked to Reuters as argument. When the spreadsheet receives an update from Reuters the trigger is updated. All my functions use this trigger as argument.

But they are not updated. I have to press CTRL+ALT+F9 to have my cells refreshed.

Could you help me to find what is wrong with my spreadsheet?

Thanks for your help.

Sylfanie.

Please ensure that calculation is set to automatic.

Does it work if you do F9 (incremental recalc) rather than Ctrl-Alt-F9
(force full recalc)?  F9 alone should be sufficient and if it isn't - if
Ctrl-Alt-F9 is required - that would indicate that your triggers are not
set up properly.

Regards,
Eric
