Quantlib wiki?

Joseph Wang
I was wondering if there is any interest in setting up a wiki for
quantlib?  I've got twiki running
and working on my non-profit site.  I can set up some pages for quantlib
so that we can better keep
track of the discussions and projects.

Joseph,
heck, yes.  The latest couple of posts from people looking for
documentation persuaded me :)

Nando, you're the domain name expert :) Is it technically possible that,
say, <http://quantlib.org/wiki/whatever> be transparently redirected to
<Joseph's site/wiki/whatever> (if Joseph agrees, of course) or is a domain
forced to reside in a single physical location?

Later,
        Luigi

No, not really. But you can install wiki software on sourceforge.

Be prepared for tons of wiki-spam, though.

Jens.

Not sure if this made it out.

The easiest thing to do would be to set up a domain name
wiki.quantlib.org which points to 206.196.26.254 which is
the server for www.gnacademy.org, a non-profit I help run.
I can set up the server so that a request to wiki.quantlib.org
will automatically get converted to the quantlib wiki.

It will take me about a few days to get things set up on my
end.  The main task is to redo the server authentications so
that people have unrestricted access to the quantlib wiki,
and also set things up so that the wiki has the same look
and feel as the main web site.
