Questions on building Quantlib - from a newbie

Hello,

 

While I was building Quantlib using MS .net 2003, I got the follow error:

 

testsuite fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_unit_test_framework-vc71-mt-sgd-1_33.lib'
 

it looks the problem is in the boost I just installed. Could anyone give me a hand on how to solve this problem?

Hi Mingjun,

In order to build the QuantLib testsuite you must first build the
Boost library.  The main QuantLib library depends only on the Boost
header files.
