Hi,
        good work. My only question is: do they belong in ql/quotes? Sure, they
use quotes, but it's almost an implementation accident... Any other
ideas?

Yes, I'd say either the base folder or ql/analysis---which should be a
name generic enough to accomodate other future code of this kind.
