Recent Git Files for QuantLibXL

In doing a VS2012 Express build of QuantLibXL, using the newest files from GitHub, I logged a total of 16 errors and 31 warnings in trying to build the latest.

I have attached an excel file with a page for the errors and a page for the warnings, parsed from the VS2012project error outputs.

 

In trying to step back, I reloaded the versions of the 5 folders from 1.2.0, as well as QuantLib_1_3_0. I got fewer errors in total, but was still unable to build the solution in VS2012.

 

The errors seem to be in the QLXL related processes only, which I guess is ok for C+ based users of the library on this list, but a challenge for the QLXL-focused users, such as me.

Most of the errors seem to result from passing the incorrect number of arguments, but if there is a problem with qlgensrc and ohgensrc calling NMAKE early on, the others could just be follow-on problems due to specification which might result.

 

The problems in compilation seem to be resulting mainly from various apr_*.c files. I have had problems with apr_buckets_refcount.c, apr_snprintf.c, and apr_dbm_ndbm.c, and note that they had been identified within earlier versions of VS, but are not included in either VS2010 or VS2012, for what that is worth.

 

I am using “release - static” and Win32-active.
