Step by Step Instructions to install and run QuantLibXL

Hi All

I’m a beginner in using QuantLib and would like to use QuantLibXL for Excel as a starting point. Are there any step by step instructions to install and run QuantLibXL?

Which of the following tools are required to run QuantLibXL:

- QuantLib
- QuantLibAddin
- ObjectHandler
- ...

Could anyone provide step by step instructions to install them?

Hi,

Do you just want to install QuantLibXL or do you want to build it from source?

The former is easy. Go to http://quantlib.org/quantlibxl/ , download the zip file, extract it somewhere and reference the .xll file from Excel.

The latter is a bigger process and is documented at http://quantlib.org/quantlibaddin/build_qlxl.html .
