Hi,
I saw Siddharth message and I have tried to download XLW using these commands which are suggested at http://xlw.sourceforge.net/cvs.html: SET CVSROOT=:pserver:[hidden email]:/cvsroot/xlw cvs login cvs -z3 co -P xlw however there is no connection. Does anybody know of any problem at XLW cvs or a better way to obtain the cvs version?. Thanks German From: Siddharth Sharma <sidsharma@ya...> Re: Where to get the right XLW version to compile QuantlibXL? 2005-06-12 05:36 Use the version in the CVS repository. http://xlw.sourceforge.net/cvs.html You will need anonymous cvs access through a cvs client like tortoise cvs (http://www.tortoisecvs.org/) cheers Sid --- Gilles Everling <GEverling.MBA2002@lo...> wrote: > Hi, > > When trying to compile QuantlibXL 0.3.8 in Visual > Studio.net I get a fatal error > C1189: using an old version of xlw, please update. > This error is generated in line 45 of qlxl.hpp: > #if XLW_HEX_VERSION < 0x010203a0 > #error using an old version of xlw, please update > #endif > > My question is: where can I get the required version > of XLW? > The latest version available at xlw.sourceforge.net > is 1.2.2, which has an XLW_HEX_VERSION of > 0x010201a0. > The latest build section at xlw.sourceforge.net > seems to be out of date. > > Thanks, > > Gilles |
Hi German
I just tried the CVS connection and also found it was down. Below is a zip of my xlw directory which I grabbed from CVS a couple of months back, I hope that does the trick.
