XL addin Issue

Hi,

 

I am trying to use the QuantlibXL ()  but have a problem when attempting to
Add in the QuantLibXL\xll\QuantLibXL-vc80-mt-s-0_3_14.xll in excel. The
error message being ... is not a valid add-in.

 



 

The version of excel I'm using is Excell 2003 (11.6355.6360) on an Windos XP
machine.

 

Any ideas .. Have I missed a step somewhere...

Hi Stefan,

That error message usually indicates an unsatisfied run-time
dependency.  However the version of QuantLibXL that you're using
should not have any dependencies so I'm not sure why you're getting an
error.

Are you running the binary installation of QuantLibXL or did you
compile the addin from source code?

I tested QuantLibXL under Excel 2002 but not 2003 so perhaps there's a
problem with that.  Can you experiment on other machines/builds?
