already compiled version of quantlib

P Nelnik
Greetings,

Is there a version of quantlib available which has already been compiled, i.e. something that is ready to be installed?

And if I need to get the boost libraries as well to get quantlib to work, then the same question applies.

I haven't yet set-up a C++ compiler on this machine, but I would like to try out quantlib.

Thanks
Philip

Philip,

If you don't have a C++ compiler yet, the only thing you can test is QuantLibXL, a Excel add in, available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/quantlib/files/.

Keep in mind that QuantLib version is 1.0 but available QuantLibXL is 0.9.7.
