Hi,
I successfully built the .xll addin following instructions
contained in http://quantlib.org/quantlibaddin/build_qlxl.html
(both basic and full version) by using Visual Studio 2005 (version 8).
When I switch to the “debug” configuration I
still get an .xll file and the building process seems ok but, when I try to
load the addin I get an error from excel: “The file you are trying to
open, … is in a different format than specified by the file extension. …”
and cannot load it.
Is there an easy way to get a debuggable .xll? What do you
think could be the problem (consider that I am using Excel 2007)?
