install problem

Ch. Schwartz
I am using windows (and Dev-Cpp). I have sucessfully bjam'd the entire boost library, which now sits in c:\boost\

However when invoking via cygwin ./config in c:\quantlib the  config fails b/c it cannot find boost. How do I rectify?

Here's the error message:

checking for M_SQRTPI... yes
checking for M_1_SQRTPI... no
checking for Boost development files... no
configure: error: Boost development files not found

Hi Charles,

I am not a Windows user, but ./configure on Unix (and I imagine Cygwin as well)
has a --help option to tell you how about options.

Thanks to all who responded.

FYI,

The fix ended up being setting the environment variables CPPFLAGS and
LDFLAGS. I did not even need to set the "--with-boost-" switch.
