share spreadsheets with quantlib add-in 0.8.0

gianfranco.cianchetti

Hello,

I installed version 0.8.0 of the QLib add-in, but if I try to share my spreadsheet, then the formulas

qlbondyield2

and

qlbondcleanprice2

return #NAME

I didn't have such a problem with similar formulas in version 0.3.14.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

I just tried without success to recreate the problem.  I used the example
workbook YC_SwapDemo.xls, after sharing it I find it continues to work
correctly.  Can you let me know what I need to do to recreate the problem?

Any ql function will return #NAME if the XLL is not loaded, could that be
the problem?

Thanks,
Eric

Re: share spreadsheets with quantlib add-in 0.8.0

Yes,

indeed my error is not properly related with the QuantLib Add-in.

In this spreadsheet I also use two other add-ins (one of them being Bloomberg) and if I open excel and then I open the spreadsheet everything works fine.

Maybe it is just a problem of excel loading the various add-ins.
