Hi Mengyuan,
I think you set up the wrong start project. If you want to run any example project ,e.g. Bonds, FRA, you should first set them as start project.
Regards,
Cheng

主题: [Quantlib-users] Unable to start program QuantLib-XXX-mt-s.lib Unknown error:0x800700c1
A update of error report in mail list user digest, Vol 113.
I tried to build Quantlib-1.6.2 with Boost-1.59.0 again in three different PCs running 32bit win7 and 64bit win10 and the problem remain.
The build finished successfully , but when I try local debug any example in QuantLib sln. Error prompt:" Unable to start program ".\QuantLib-1.6.2\.\lib\ QuantLib-XXX-mt-s.lib(varies from different version and OS)." Operation not supported. In Win10, additional "Unknown error:0x800700c1" was given.
The only thing in common between these PCs is that they are running simplified Chinese Windows system, and I do have some warnings C4819: The file contains a character that cannot be represented in the current code page (936). Save the file in Unicode format to prevent data loss. I googled around and found that some user get the same warnings too but they could use QuantLib without any errors .
I tested most option related functions in R using RQuantLib package and they goes well. I think that the RQuantLib package is a bridge between R and QuantLib, and the functions must use the code in file QuantLib-XXX-mt-s.lib, which means the build does work.
I am confused. Please help.
