Eric,
        I guess Calc isn't mentioned on the site out of sheer ignorance :)  
Also, these pages haven't been updated for quite a while...

As for spreadsheet integration, I'd get in touch with Nando (nando at  
ametrano dot net), which is developing the QuantLib/Excel thing. You  
could try and work out a suitable functional interface to the library,  
which you would export to your respective spreadsheets.
