Is this three-year-old version of QuantLib correct?

Pete Wilson
Hi everybody --

I'm brand-new to Quantlib and have just installed what I think must be the latest package. This is what was installed:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 14513744 Nov 24  2008 libQuantLib-0.9.7.so*

Can somebody please confirm for me that this file, and only this file, comprises the whole package?

Thanks so much!

Or checkout the code:

This could be from the package I maintain for Debian (and which feed into
Ubuntu and other derivatives).  Would you mind detailing where you got this
from?

Details on newer versions are at

  http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/quantlib

and you eg follow the 'changelog' link to see more clearly what was built
when:

  http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/q/quantlib/quantlib_1.1-1/changelog

There have been a number of builds since that 0.9.7 version.

It is the _run-time_ part as it is a shared library. To build, you also need
headers and the links to link against.

Hope this helps, Dirk
